Plasma won the honorary title of "Anhui Province Advanced Collective" in 2022

On the morning of November 8, the commendation meeting of model worker, exemplary individual and advanced collectives in Anhui Province was held in Hefei. Provincial Party Secretary Zheng Zhajie attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Vice Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor Wang Qingxian presided over the meeting. At the meeting, Ding Xiangqun, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and head of the Organization Department, read out and commended the awards of the 2022 model worker exemplary individual and advanced collective commendation conference in Anhui Province. The team of the full superconducting Tokamak large scientific device of the Plasma Institute won the honorary title of "Anhui Advanced Collective".

The team of the All Superconducting Tokamak Large Science Facility at the Plasma Institute adheres to the spirit of "dedication, unity and cooperation, determination to forge ahead, and striving for first-class" science and culture. In the journey of "artificial sun" nuclear fusion, they have built and operated the Eastern Super Ring of the All Superconducting Tokamak Nuclear Fusion Experimental Facility, achieving a series of original and internationally leading scientific research results, promoting China's steady-state magnetic confinement nuclear fusion research to be at the forefront of the international community, Has made significant contributions to human nuclear fusion research.

It is reported that this year is a five-year year for the selection and commendation of model worker, exemplary individual and advanced collectives in Anhui Province. After grassroots recommendation, centralized review, solicitation of opinions, provincial publicity and other procedures, 705 provincial model worker and exemplary individual (490 provincial model worker, 215 provincial exemplary individual) and 98 provincial advanced collectives were commended in Anhui Province.
