Arnaud Devred, a representative of the European Center for Nuclear Research, and a delegation came to visit and exchange ideas at our center

On June 29, Professor Arnaud Devred, head of the Magnets, Superconductivity and Cryogenic Department of the European Nuclear Research Center (CERN), Qin Jinggang, researcher of the Institute of Plasma Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Jin Huan, associate researcher, visited the Hefei International Center for Applied Superconductivity, accompanied by Liu Huajun, executive director of the Center, and relevant technical backbones.

Professor Arnaud Devred and others listened to a detailed introduction by Dean Liu Huajun on the technological innovation of the Hefei International Applied Superconducting Center. They had in-depth exchanges and discussions with relevant comrades on the high-temperature superconducting cable winding capacity, scientific research achievements, and core equipment of the superconducting center. Professor Arnaud Devred expresses his appreciation for the research level, ability, and related achievements of our center.

In the next step, CERN and the Plasma Physics Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Hefei Institute of Physical Sciences will further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with our center in the cutting-edge technology of superconducting magnets.
